Just one of the reasons I love my job
I love being a writer and I could probably fill this entry with the many reasons why. But instead, I'll leave you with this picture of me at my daughter's school last June, where the children and I put together a book--I wrote it and they illustrated it--which I came in to read to them.

As a former elem. school teacher I would have loved to have a parent come in and do that!
We are very lucky in this school district, Lynn. Parents are encouraged to be in the classroom often. Every other week I volunteer at my daughter's school and now I will be helping out at my youngests' preschool too. It helps me get to know the teachers and the kids enjoy it too.
